Enhancements to the DASD I/O driver used by CONDOR measurably improve performance in all applications that are I/O intensive, such as custom REXX, ECHO and CYGNET programs.
zIIPs (z/OS)
CONDOR runs on IBM SYSTEM z Integrated Information Processors (zIIPs). A significant amount of the total CPU time used by CONDOR is automatically redirected to zIIP processors if present, potentially reducing monthly z/OS fees.The design improves response times even if zIIPs are not available.
